Why we exist

Hospitality happens away from the keyboard.

The best moments at a lodge are the first hello, the fish that got away, the extra night someone asks for. None of them happen in a spreadsheet.

LodgeOps started at the front desk of a working lodge where one small team handled the bookings, the guides, the horses and boats, the kitchen and the books. It keeps all of that in one place so nothing gets lost between the radio, the whiteboard and the inbox.

What we care about

House rules.

Calm is a feature.

Lodge work is already full of weather, early starts and surprise guests. Software should lower the volume, not add to it.

Built at the desk, not in a boardroom.

LodgeOps was shaped by the people who use it at six in the morning. When something is awkward at the front desk, we change it.

Straight answers.

We say what LodgeOps does and what it doesn’t do yet, and we keep that list up to date.

Meet the night manager

Every lodge needs someone at the desk.

Ours is a marshmallow in a green neckerchief. It rings the bell for you, blushes when you notice it and gets sleepy when the lamp goes out. Go on, visit the front desk and poke it.

We’ll leave the light on.
