Roles the server enforces
Eleven roles decide who can see and change what. The API checks them on every request, not just the menus.
How setup works, how LodgeOps keeps your guests’ information safe, and the questions lodges ask us most.
Setting up LodgeOps happens inside its own Settings. These are the groups you’ll fill in, roughly in this order.
Business info and branding, locations and cabins, rooms, amenities and your base currency.
Rates, deposit and cancellation policies, booking sources, tax rules and the invoice layout.
Services and products, crew and assets, POS stores, kitchen stations and operational checklists.
A sender for guest email, templates in English and Spanish, reminders, review links and calendar feeds.
Staff accounts with roles, vendors for supply orders, and your saved audit reasons.

Email verification and two-factor authentication for staff accounts.
Every change to a booking, payment or setting is recorded with who made it and when.
Guest data requests are reviewed, approved and only then executed, with the reason saved.
Payment receipts are scanned for malware before anyone can download them. Legal holds and retention policies are built in.
Changing a past-dated booking needs a reason; after seven days only an administrator or manager can do it. Removed bookings keep their financial history.

The staff app is fully available in English and Spanish, and each person can choose their own. Guest email templates are written in both languages too.
Each workspace has a base currency for new records. Reports show amounts per currency, and the dashboard converts revenue using dated exchange-rate snapshots. LodgeOps does not settle payments across currencies.
Not yet. Staff record cash, bank transfers and card-terminal payments against the booking. Mercado Pago payment links (Argentina, ARS) are built but have not been tested with live checkout, so we don’t offer them yet.
No. LodgeOps is not a channel manager. It does publish iCal availability feeds you can add to other calendars.
No. LodgeOps runs in the browser and needs a connection; it shows a clear notice if you go offline so nobody works on stale information.
Yes. A person can belong to more than one workspace and switch between them.
The invoice is a numbered, printable snapshot of the booking’s charges and payments. It is not certified by any tax authority.
Tell us about your lodge and we’ll walk you through LodgeOps with your own rooms, rates and activities.
